Columbia, MD - May 25, 2005 - Dot21 Real-Time Systems, Inc., announced today
that its radar display application, proven in the AN/SPS-48E program, is now OACE
compliant. Using Dot21's "write once, run anywhere" Java technology and NDDS (Network
Data Distribution Service) from Real-Time Innovations, our radar display is now
OACE Standards category, version 1 compliant using the DDS [Real-Time Innovations/NDDS/4.0f]
publish-subscribe middleware.
"Our new radar display's OACE compliance offers real benefits to the Navy:
interoperating with future OACE systems and managing changes in computer technologies,"
stated Mark Bailey, Business Development Manager at Dot21 Real-Time Systems. "Using
DDS middleware will allow our radar display to be integrated with all other OACE
complaint systems that use publish-subscribe middleware. Since our display is
written completely in Java, it is useable on a wide variety of different computers
and operating systems."
